I'm a wee bit late in posting this but just catching up on my blog. More photos to come.
On the flight home from Dallas, just after breaking through the clouds I took a quick look around the plane. Almost everyone on the plane was ignoring the beauty right outside those little windows. iPads, Newspapers, in-flight entertainment consoles and cellphones were apparently far more interesting than the play of the sun over the wonderful texture of the top of the clouds.
One of the things photography has given back to me is my interest in the world around me, and I'm thankful for that.Don't forget to lift your head, look around and enjoy the sights around you. Look for beauty and you'll find it.
This shot is from the top of a parking garage in Dallas. I just really liked all the reflections you can see; the reflected light on the concrete and the reflections in the windows of the buildings.
I spent last week in Dallas, TX for some training through work. Unfortunately, I didn't have any time to get out and take photos in some of the places I would have liked, so I just strolled around to places close by. In the part of Addison I was in there are some wonderfully quiet streets and parks...that were empty. It was rather strange but certainly peaceful.
