Overnight at the lake
We spent a day at a friends cottage on Balsam Lake. Here is a shot from the evening and a couple at sunrise.

Ok, it wasn't so massive, actually only about 12 inches high but I got as low as possible to make it look like more.
Recently me and the family decided to head to downtown Toronto for church and then some lunch. Crazy to be so close to TO but not venture into the beast very often. Anyway, we had a great time wandering around and had lunch at Mr. Greenjeans, a place we have been to in at least 20 years!
Until now I have been shooting sunset shots while the sun was still visible but wanted to try my hand at long exposures after it had set. After making sure I had my tripod I got out and took these...
Did some HDR post prod on them as well. There was a storm coming in, which made for some interesting clouds. :)
Love my kids to death! Here they are...
This is my oldest, Will. Super great kid who drives me nuts sometimes, but that's his job as a teenager. :P
Lauren is my buddy; always willing to go to the store, or out to take photos with me.
My youngest, Emma. She cracks us up all the time and is a gem. She is all personality!
I took these photos to put into a frame for their grandma's birthday. Sure, I probably should have paid someone professional to take the shots but I'm cheap that way.
Well, it was more of a parking lot for a construction company's gear but was able to get some cool shots. Trying them out as HDR photos here.
